Growing up, I worked in local kennels at holidays and weekends, where I met just about every breed of dog. I also learned that kennels don’t suit every dog, and some pets don’t like the noise, miss their home comforts, and pine for human contact and cuddles.
I decided to set up my own Doggy Home Boarding company and found a franchise for 101 Friends for Every Dog, which has been home boarding dogs in the UK since 2005. I loved the idea that your dog stays with a loving family in their cosy home and that you and your dog meet them there in advance.
My career has been in recruitment and customer services, which I think has made this my ideal job. I’m also very interested in animal welfare and have contributed to SSPCA, WAP, WWF, Soi Dogs and Takis Shelter for many years.
Set up in 2005, 101 Friends for Every Dog was one of the earliest providers of home boarding in Britain. Since then it has cared for many thousands of dogs, so you can be totally confident that your dog will receive truly expert care.
